Two days in New York City
Jenny was happy to conveniently forgot her scheduled appointment with Dr. Samson, but leave it to Rob to have it on his calendar. The day before, she was notified that she would be collected at 6am and delivered to the S.H.I.E.L.D. transport for the New York run.

She tossed a few items into her shoulder bag along with a new book. She didn't need anymore than that as Rob had kept their leased apartment in New York. Between his monthly trips back to New York and her infrequent traveling, he said it was worth hanging onto it. Everything she might need was already there.

A note was posted on the refrigerator so the team would know she would be in the States for a couple of days. She also included a post script asking Leech to make sure Yankee Clipper was fed. She really hoped Quinn would continue to be tolerant and not turn YC into a fluffy orange and white throw pillow.

In New York, she had time to shower and change clothes before presenting herself at Dr. Samson's office promptly at 3pm. Each time she had one of these appointments she hoped it would be the last. Each time he said he would see her again in three months. At least this time she would have something different to contribute to the conversation.

"Well...She-Hulk is my mother, and the Hulk is my cousin. But the person I change into isn't a nice guy. He can be pretty shitty to people at times." Andy says.

He blinks at her not wanting to leave.

"Okay, I've never gotten that reaction before. Then again, I've never told anyone about this before. I usually don't get this far into dates. I mean...meetings." he says.

"I just told you that I can go ten rounds with a prize fighter and hold my own just fine. You didn't leave," Jenny pointed out. "If your Hulk shows up and doesn't behave, I'll deal with him. If anybody ruins our...meeting, it will be one of us. Nobody else."

"You know, I wouldn't mind seeing you knock out Tyson or someone. It would be cool to say I went out with a girl who did it." Andy jests.

"And thank you for not having an issue with who I am. You're one of the few people not to. So, what do we talk about now that we've gotten the secrets out of the way?" he asks Jenny.

"Tyson wouldn't stand a chance. He's never been bounced off the floor and the ropes the way I can manage it," she said only partly joking. A good hip check was a girl's best move.

"How about we talk about dinner? Secret sharing is hungry work. We can eat here or somewhere else if you'd like."

"I've never been here before, so maybe you can tell me what's good? Dinner is always good when two people decide to meet up." Andy smiles.

"I'm trying to imagine watching a grown man go flying all over the place, and I can't. Must be a sight to see."

"The food here is good. Not outstanding, but good. Honestly, I picked the restaurant because it's walking distance from our apartment. I can recommend the fajitas. The apple cobbler is outstanding."

"Fajitas are good and I love anything with apple in it, so I know what I'm having." he smiles.

When the waiter comes around, Andy waits for Jenny to order then orders his food and refill on his drink.

"What's your favorite food, if you had to choose one above all else?" he asks.

"I'm all about the dessert," Jenny confessed. "Apple Brown Betty with fresh cream is wonderful. The English can't do a good burger to save their souls, but clotted cream is the 8th wonder of the world. You have a favorite?"

"Cheeseburgers and fries are my weakness, followed closely by Philly Cheesesteaks, and American does the best of both." he says.

"And my favorite desert is cheesecake." he says. "I've never had clotted cream, though. It sounds like it could be good."

"Oh...cheesecake with fresh fruit. I could be had for a great cheesecake." Her face turned a bit pink when she realized what she'd said. "You know what I mean."

Andy eyebrows raise as he smiles. "Well, I really wanted to take you out for cheesecake after this before you said that, but I don't want you to think...yeah." he just chuckles.

Well, she wants you.

Andy ignores the inner commentary.

"You make blushing look cute. Not many people can pull that off." he says.

"I ruined my chances for cheesecake?" Her expression could give puppies competition for sad. "I so need to work on that brain to mouth filter."

"And...thanks."

"No, cheesecake is still in order. All this talk about it makes me wants some now." he says.

"Strawberry cheesecake is my favorite, followed by blueberry. I can't cook much, but I did learn to bake when I was a kid.

I do a pretty mean cheesecake." he tells her.

"I don't cook often, but I have one specialty. Pot roast and vegetables. I think my mother taught me how. If she taught me anything else, I don't remember."

"Pot roast is really good. You should make it when I'm in London." Andy says.

Her comment about not remembering anything else her mother taught her seems odd, but he's not sure how to broach the question without prying, so he goes with a different question.

"Do you prefer sunrise or sunset? I'm big on sunsets, myself. My dad and I used to watch them together." he says.
