Two days in New York City
Jenny was happy to conveniently forgot her scheduled appointment with Dr. Samson, but leave it to Rob to have it on his calendar. The day before, she was notified that she would be collected at 6am and delivered to the S.H.I.E.L.D. transport for the New York run.

She tossed a few items into her shoulder bag along with a new book. She didn't need anymore than that as Rob had kept their leased apartment in New York. Between his monthly trips back to New York and her infrequent traveling, he said it was worth hanging onto it. Everything she might need was already there.

A note was posted on the refrigerator so the team would know she would be in the States for a couple of days. She also included a post script asking Leech to make sure Yankee Clipper was fed. She really hoped Quinn would continue to be tolerant and not turn YC into a fluffy orange and white throw pillow.

In New York, she had time to shower and change clothes before presenting herself at Dr. Samson's office promptly at 3pm. Each time she had one of these appointments she hoped it would be the last. Each time he said he would see her again in three months. At least this time she would have something different to contribute to the conversation.

	"Of course you can. Your back has had a hard time of things lately, so it's only right we remedy that." Andy says. Flirting has never been his strong suit, but Jenny makes the trying of it easy. 	Jenny just knew that after these few days were over, cheesecake would never be just a dessert again. She watched him leave the kitchen with what had to be the world's silliest grin on her face. 	She would never get tired of hearing him call her gorgeous. "Surprisingly chaos-free." She followed him into the kitchen to unpack the bags and get dinner started. Slow roasting in the oven all afternoon would make it perfect. She really wanted to make it perfect for him. "I hope you'll be hungry. I don't know how to make it for just two people." 	"I'm willing to keep working at it until we do," she said with a solemnly nod, her eyes bright with surprised laughter. "I picked up popcorn for movies. With everything, I think we're set. 	Jenny leaned against him, tilting her face up to his with a smile. Yesterday she wouldn't have admitted this to a new acquaintance that she wanted to like her. "Mainstream - Prince of Persia. "Oh boy." Andy says, chuckling a little. "Um...do I lose points if I admit to never having seen Rocky Horror Picture Show?" he asks.

Usually, after admitting that, he got incredulous stares, followed by questions about living under a rock.

"I'd like to find one of those old-fashioned theaters and just do a movie day, one day. I think it would be great." he says.

"I just saw it a couple of years ago. It was in a batch of disks Rob brought me in the hospital. It's given me a whole new respect for fishnet stockings. One of the first things I did after I was let out alone was buy fishnet stockings."

She took a colander from a cupboard underneath and put the vegetables in for washing. "Movie days are one of my favorite things. Especially when it's a marathon of really good films. You should have one as soon as possible, and then email me about them."

	"Please do. I'd like to see if what movies we agree on versus the ones we don't." he tells her. Andy simply smiles again brightly when she mentions cheesecake. "No, you go ahead. His bright smile seemed both promising and...hrm...concealing. Something up his sleeves along with nice arms and shoulders? She could only hope.

Then she was distracted by his smell and warmth and affection. She hugged him back and slid her hands under his shirt to stroke his back. Dinner? What dinner?

Right. Dinner. She would seduce him with pot roast and lure him back to bed with pan gravy.

"Okay, ground rules for the kitchen when I'm using knives. I need space so we don't have any unfortunate accidents."

"Well, you don't have to worry about me. You don't have a utensil in this kitchen that could do me harm." Andy says.

"All the same, I don't want you to get nervous and cut yourself, so I'll put on another movie while the pot roast is being created. If you hear anything that sounds like an earthquake, it's my stomach thinking about how good the pot roast will be." he smiles.

A guy she couldn't hurt if they somehow collided and she was holding sharp objects that could rebound and do a lot of damage? How lucky was that? Rob still had decent sized scar on his arm thanks to a kitchen accident.

"I'll get the prep work done faster without you to distract me." Reluctantly, she slipped her hands out of his shirt. "Go amuse yourself. It will be your turn for the kitchen very soon."

"All right. I'll be amusing myself with the thought of you in fishnets." he smiles, going back into the living room, already missing the feel of her hands against him.

He chuckles again at her assumption that he'll need to bake the cheesecake. However, he does watch Jenny while she works in the kitchen. The last few days were like something out of a dream, or a movie. He could get used to having Jenny around for a long time.

"Play your cards right and I'll put them on!" she called after him. "Might even tie you down with them!"

She's a decent knife handler, so vegetables are chopped quickly and put back into the fridge in a bowl of cold water to wait for the proper time to add to the pan. The roast is hand rubbed with spices and put into the roasting pan to begin the long, slow process. She hummed as she worked, occasionally catching his eye and smiling. Should she think about tying him down when he might have issues with a Hulk inside?

Before long she washed her hands and joined him in the living area with the movie playing. "You're up with dessert."

"It's not nice to tease!" Andy calls back to her. "Especially about something like that!"

The food already smelled great from here and his stomach rumbled in approval. When she came to sit down with him, he pulled her close to whisper in her ear.

"And see, now is the part where my evil plot is revealed. See, I got almost everything we need for a cheesecake. But this time, I thought I might make the cheesecake out of you." Andy says.

"So, if you're not busy for a little bit, I'll tell you the ingredients for this new recipe." he says, kissing her neck.

Then he'll whisper the ingredients into her ear as well as where each one goes in the process.
