It is normally outside of the realm of possibility for Jason Howard Landon to hit a woman in any way, shape or form. The idea of being stuck with a needle however, and forced to do things he would rather not do was more than he could take, though.
So when the girl turned her back, he found the heaviest object he could, a small lamp, and was about to do the unthinkable when the ceiling came down on both of them.
He didn't know the guy who'd saved him, but that wasn't important. Finding a way out of this place was. Hopefully, Fury and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D might be aware of his failure to report in by now.
