Kassia waited until Marrina was asleep. The girls had decided to wait until morning to return to Canada, which was plenty of time for Kassia to decide that letting her father handle things wasn't something that she could do. The longer she sat with her thoughts the more she grew angry and wanted the darkest justice of all: revenge.

She had so many names and contacts thanks to where she had grown up and the people she had met. None of them seemed particularly trustworthy now, save for one.

Julian Howard.

<i>It's Kassia Frost, can you meet me somewhere tonight?</i>

The call was made quietly from the bathroom and if he agreed, she'd ask him to meet her at a coffee shop a few blocks from her hotel.

Julian doesn't know a Kassia Frost, but he does remember the sound of Grace's voice. He considers the request for a meeting, looks at his Rolex, and makes a decision.

His car will pull up outside the coffee shop near the hotel, slowing to a halt for the driver to get out and open the door. Julian steps out, looks around, then scans the area for any sign of the young woman he knows to be Emma's daughter.

When he sees her, he will beckon her to come outside to the car.

"Don't thank me yet. You don't know what I'm charging." Julian says cryptically.

"Let's get in the car. On the off-chance you were followed, I'd rather not have word of our meeting get back to your mother. I'm fairly certain she doesn't know you're here. Considering she doesn't know where you are, I'm in possession of a pretty piece of information." Julian tells her, guiding her to his car.

Once they are inside, he looks directly at the young woman.

"Why am I here, Grace? Or is it Kassia? I prefer Kassia. Much more...sensual." Julian says.

"It's Kassia. It's always been Kassia; my mother just disagrees."

Inside the car, Kassia looks carefully at Julian. It's been a bit since she's seen him and while the changes in him aren't striking she's seeing him in a different light. This time he's not Tina's casual acquaintance and she's not the tag-along little sister. It's interesting, at least to her.

"I'm fairly certain that what I'm asking will have an exorbitant charge attached but any price is worth it. I want to murder Sebastian Shaw. I need to acquire the tools with which to do so."

Julian looks at Kassia for a moment, not sure he just heard her right. However, after a long moment...Julian understands.

And he laughs. Loudly.

This is too priceless! The gods must be on his side, because he couldn't have asked for a more fortuitous circumstance to occur.

"Suppose, for a moment, that I'm listening. I could turn this information over to him for a favor or two. You'd be threatening your mother's position, Kassia. So, either you don't know what you're asking, or you no longer care about the consequences." Julian says.

He wonders if she knows about what happened to her older sister, but he decides it doesn't matter.

"You want to kill the Black King of the Hellfire Club. What makes you think I am capable of providing what you ask for?" Julian asks.

Great. So maybe she is just the tag along kid. And when he points out that he could go to Shaw...shit. Shit, shit, shit. Why can't Shaw just be a bullet-to-the-brain type of guy?

"Because you are generally devious, kind of malicious, and have always been able to get anything, Julian. I'm young, not stupid. And yes. I want to kill Shaw and no, you aren't going to him. You dislike him and always have. Again, young and not stupid. He's a piece of human garbage that needs to die and I'd prefer it to be by my hand. I know precisely what I'm asking. Sebastian Shaw has to die. I'm going to kill him. You can help or I'll go to someone else who dislikes the man as much as you do and make their day."

She had no idea what he was planning. There was no way she could have. But she did know that what she said sounded good. She'd heard her mother enough. And...she actually believed what she said.

"You certainly do take after your mother." Julian says simply.

"What is your plan, and what do you require? I don't need for you to fail and reveal under duress that you paid me a visit to get the aid you seek. I'll evaluate your plan and let you know if I'm interested.

And before you go running to anyone else, which I don't believe you have anyone to run to, let me remind you: whatever I ask of you will be a discount compared to what another would want. And they'll want whatever you can provide up front, rather than later." Julian says.

"Oh, and they'll likely sell you out anyway. You're not the first person to want Sebastian Shaw dead, but you're certainly the youngest. People twice your age haven't been able to take him down. What makes you think you'll succeed where better have failed?"

It's the last thing he'd expect and there is a specific poison that won't harm me but will do some significant damage to him. Or any other human being for that matter." He has to concede the point. Until a moment ago, Julian would have considered Kassia the one Frost woman that wasn't capable of violence or deceit. Mother warned him about underestimating people in the Hellfire Club, let alone their children.

Sebastian Shaw was going to pay for doing so himself.

"Give me the name and I'll see what I can come up with. Do you plan to go after him alone or should I send you some help? If he even suspects what you're planning, he'll kill you and your mother will never be able to prove he did it." Julian says.

"Sea viper venom?" Julian asks, raising a brow. That's probably the most random request he's ever heard. He immediately goes over who he can ask for something like this and the pros and cons.

Viper would be best, but he doesn't want to owe her, or worse, allow her to have something to blackmail him later.

He could try his contact who will eliminate Kine, but there's the same issue involved as with Viper. Julian is about to tell her that she'll need another plan when the perfect person to enlist comes to mind. He mentally kicks himself for not thinking of him sooner.

"You'll have what you need. How soon do you plan to move? That will determine if I'll take an active hand in what's going on here. Otherwise, I'll make sure you have the best back-up available." Julian says.

"Very well. I'll have what you need in three days' time; be ready to move within two weeks, maybe sooner. I'm working on this from multiple fronts, but I'm coordinating it so that everything will come together in one move. Any less and Shaw, or his lackeys, will wipe us out the first chance they get." Julian says.

He finds it interesting that she trusts him of all people. Part of him considers going to Emma with this information, as she is his partner in this. He decides against it, though. Emma is useful in one way; perhaps her daughter will be useful in others.

"You mentioned being half-Atlantean. What do you know of King Namor and his daughter, the Princess?" Julian asks.

Oh, Emma. You certainly omitted this from our meetings. Julian says. He finds himself grateful for his own telepathy shielding his thoughts from Kassia's possible ability to read them. She is a Frost, after all.

"You have the ear of King Namor and the princess? Interesting. I'll keep that in mind for future reference." Julian says.

The car pulls up to her hotel and the driver comes around to open the door.

"You are right, Kassia. My aid is going to cost you. However, I haven't finished tallying up your bill. When I have, I'll be in touch." Julian says.
