So, apparently, she had a sister. Well, a second sister. There was already TJ, though she wasn't exactly sure what had happened to her.

The sheer size of the Mansion and various demands had kept Mina from meeting with her until now, but everything had finally lined up. She'd thought about the best way to do it, and finally had left a message with Gretchen to meet her down in the gym for a time honored Wagner tradition: fencing.

Mina possessed a fair amount of skill at it, or at least she thought so, and besides, what she lacked in skill, she made up in quantity.

Gretchen came inside from a walk -- walks were nice. Focusing on the trees rather than the bizarreness of the place -- and got the message. She came downstairs in her workout clothes, a little unsure herself how one went about these, but approving of the choice of venue.

The people of Ruritania had accepted that their Queen's sport showcase of choice was the marathon rather than the fencing salon, since she'd at least married a swordsman, but between Dad and tradition, it'd been a major part of Gretchen's education.

There was no mistaking for whom she was looking. "Hello."

	"I kinda take after Dad a bit more," she replied, perhaps a bit unnecessarily. She took up a foil herself and offered her own hand. And those are countered in turn. There's a little bit of circling.

"Yeah, they started dating a couple years after they met, because, well, the Chancellor had talked Mom into this arranged marriage, and the wedding had just started when there was an extradimensional alien attack, and well, there's Dad. Crashing in to deal with it." She goes in low. "Mom was staring at him when the groom said something snide about mutants, and she kicked him in the shin with ruby-studded shoes. She and Dad started talking afterward, and two years later, new King-Consort." Gretchen's glad for something else to focus on, so she'll look less uncomfortable when she adds. "Looks like the jackass managed to keep his mouth shut in this world."

	Mina's light on her feet, keeping up with the circling easily, mixing in a few thrusts of her own. "Yeah," Mina agreed. "Dad talked about that before, said the wedding went off without a hitch after they'd saved the day."
