On one hand, that hurts. The Wendigo is incredibly strong, enough to challenge even Jordan's resistance. On the other hand, he's pretty happy trading blows from this position. He has his feet under him and leverage, so the monster isn't going to knock him down. Likewise, as long as it can't get to his head, he'll take the Wendigo battering at his torso while Jordan has clear punches, even if they're short, quick jabs in rapid succession at its guts - far more vulnerable. He'd be the first to acknowledge that its stronger than he is - perhaps far stronger, but he's the tougher of the two.
He does work on pinning those knees in a bit, trying to limit it to the forearm strikes a bit more, and keeps hammering at its side, not too proud to take kidney shots where he can get them.
