Collecting information, drawing in people to work on bits and pieces, recording absolutely every scrap of information no matter how inane or unlikely.
"For now, I'd like to keep it inside the team. Of course, if the colonel, the deputy director, or Commander Dugan ask specific questions, I'm not encouraging you to lie. If there is any question about who gets this information outside the five of us, I'll make that decision."
