"Thanks, Sam. Ah'm kinda glad you got to see it. Ah don't bring many people here, so it's nice to show things off a little bit. And the Landons have been in Bon Temps almost as long as there's been a Bon Temps. Ah hope we'll stay to that as the years go by." he says.
He leads her back down the stairs to his room and allows her to enter first.
"You've got the whole Christmas bit on the helicarrier, too. I mean, S.H.I.E.L.D. is pretty much associated with your family, Sam." he says. It's started to feel a little easier to use her first name, though he doesn't want to make a habit of it, especially when they need to be around the team and other people.
He doesn't want to do anything that she'll have to explain later on.
