Jake had specific reasons to hate her, she supposed, but as long as he was locked up she wouldn't worry about it.
"We all have bad breakups, right? Unexpected situations to deal with. If you'd told your friend that I was your boss he would have fallen over himself to tell how good you are."
She looked at him curiously over the last question. "It's been fun. I'm sorry about the trouble for your family, but I'm glad to see how you deal with stress. It'll help me help you fit into the team and S.H.I.E.L.D. better."
