"Wow," floated down down the stairs with a teasinf chuckle, "washer and dryer. /and/ you conjugate verbs!"
Twenty minutes later she followed her nose down the stairs and directly to the coffeemaker. She'd dressed in sensible jeans and a dark long sleeve shirt, part of her Walmart shopping trip two days earlier. Her wet hair was braided and left to hang down her back. "Coffeeeee...."
