"Who's negotiating?" Jason smirks.
"And don't you make fun of Robby Rooster. He holds the cookies in escrow for good little boys and girls." Jason tells her. It was the story that Gran always told Jake and him when they were little, to get them to do their chores.
"Ah'll get the cookies, you pick the movie." Jason tells her, heading back to the kitchen. He'd been about to suggest they share the sofa, but maybe it was best they didn't. He might be tempted to not watch the movie instead.
