Jason might have jumped when Sam just appeared next to him. He would never get used to her coming out of a freeze like that one him. He smiles, though, and drives them deeper into the lot.
They go back to a free-standing building at the far Northeast corner of the facility with a single red door. Every storage unit has a red door, and there seem to be at least three garages for each building. This building has only one door, but easily as large as the ones with multiple doors.
Jason pulls up twenty feet from the door and kills the engine, then gets out, grabbing the remote from one of his pockets. He aims it at the left corner of the brown stucco building and presses the first button on the remote.
It lights up red, remains that way for several seconds, then turns green. Jason presses the second button. Again, it lights up red.
While Jason is going through these motions, Sammy might notice a small floating ball of black metal with a red sensor light making its way directly toward her.
After the third button goes green, the black ball simply floats before Sammy, studying her.
"What is thy bidding, my mistress?" it asks her.
