She couldn't hear the song without thinking of his tattoo and how odd it was they were both obsessed over the concept of time. That she had a tattoo that celebrated the concept of time left free while his wanted to contain and hold it was another odd connection to think about.
She nestled her face against his neck and enjoyed the scent of his skin and the feel of his arms. And because she could, she slipped them into a temporal pause where everything - music, air, the creaks of the old house - were gone and it was just them.
