"I'll take your word for it. If I find a gas station I'll go ahead and fill the tank so we don't have to do it first thing in the morning. Don't worry if I'm a few minutes later than you think I should be. Maybe you should nap a bit, too."
She read the directions again and put the paper in her pocket. "Wish me luck."
She waved from the back door and was gone.
