Tech gives Sammy a long, slow blink at the idea of Sammy's thank-you for the flowers. A slow, goofy smile spreads across his face as she shrugs. He'd toe the dirt under his feet if there was any.
"It was the least I could do." he says.
"Well, let us eat while the food is hot and then we'll talk about things. Gran is resting comfortable with her food. I don't expect we'll hear much from her the rest of the night. She's got two days' worth of stories to catch up on." he says.
