"I can almost see the smoke coming out of your ears," she assured him, laughing. She spooned pasta in Alfredo sauce onto her plate. It smelled heavenly.
"Oh!" She went back to the bag and retrieved the garlic bread in wrapped in foil. "It's not pasta without garlic bread."
"May I ask what the doctor had to say about your grandma?"
