She paused for a moment, thinking she heard something from the bedroom across the hall. What they were doing was perfectly innocent....mostly, but she wouldn't insult her hostess for the world.
Even if it seemed like Evelyn Landon was trying to give Jason to her. The old woman was far too intuitive for Sammy's good.
"You sound awfully sure of yourself," she observed. "What makes you think such a position is available?"
