Tessa hadn't heard from Misha in almost two weeks. She knew why he hadn't called, but she couldn't lose contact with him. The mission depended on her keeping in contact with him. Not to mention Nicholas had been nagging her about keeping in contact with Misha. The man was impatient as hell and a pain in the ass.

Not wanting to hear any more from Nicholas and being genuinely concerned about Misha, she dialed his number.

The opposite door opened and Mikhail entered the parlor. Misha held up a finger to let him know he'd be right with him.

"Then it would be great if you'd bring something to go with the ice cream."
