Eli reaches out with his mind to the frightened child, trying to soothe him a bit.
I know you are scared, but I need your help, Little One. I will get you away from the bad man, but I need you to tell me when you are ready. You cannot see my hand, but I am very close to you. When you feel my hand touch your hand, blink three times and I can take you away from him.
As Eli speaks to the child mentally, he extends his telekinetic reach to touch the boy upon the hand, as well as to envelop each of the school children not far away.
The little boy's confusion is apparent, but he blinks once, twice, and then tree times.
Suddenly, the boy vanishes from Ringo's grip, as do the schoolchildren and Eli.
