We Gotta Get Out of This Place
Normally, Rose spent as much time with Joey as was humanly possible, while still maintaining some degree of independence. Which didn't mean she couldn't hang around with other people. More importantly, right now, she needed to be able to head out with someone who could keep up with her, at least for a night.

Careful consideration left Tina as the option here, so Rose went to hunt her down.

As Rose took on a crazed smile Tina went in a different direction, so different that if Rose was watching she might actually be uncomfortable or horrified by it. Tina turned into a rag doll, her body limp and compliant, her face and eyes blank, almost dead. It would be sickeningly obvious that this was a state she'd gone into before.

Out of her seat and standing, it was easy for the man to pull Tina's smaller frame obscenely close to his disgusting body. Limpid eyes looked up to the man as though she were about to give into him...but then something changed.

Sniiiiikkkkkt.

"Smart men are scared. You're obviously an idiot."
Tina's claws popped, the tips right at the man's groin.

Rose was mostly keeping her attention on the other guy, trusting that Tina could handle whatever came her way. But what she did see, well, Rose considered herself a pretty hard person, but that was going to require a lot of beer to unsee.

She was ready for the grab, grabbing onto the guy's wrist before he could blink, twisting his arm behind his back as she got to her feet.

She popped one of her own claws, the tip of it on his back. "Bad idea, bucko."

	All the eyes in the bar were on them. And, unfortunately, the bikers had friends. Big, beefy (some might say "fat"), unwashed guys. One pulled a knife. Another broke a bottle over the bar. Another had a pool cue. Others had other weapons. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yep." Her own claws retracted and she picked up her last untouched mug of beer, downed it, slapped some cash down on the bar and lead the way out to the car. "Hm. 	There was something fundamentally wrong when Rose was the sensible one in a partnership. She was reasonably certain she saw some line about "bridge out ahead", but at the speeds they were going, it was hard to tell. More flashing lights joined the ones already following them. 	Tina was eerily calm, shifting gears and pushing the car even further. She didn't ruffle or even make a comment...until she saw the second warning sign. "Oh. 	"Oh, fer the luvva...." Rose trailed off. "This is gonna huuuuurrtttt!" It was a long way down. The car hit, and rolled, and bounced, and rolled some more. It took a few moments for Rose to come back to awareness. She could feel bones reknitting. "Well..." she grunted, "let it never be said you don't make life interestin', Frosty." Tina's body sprouted diamond armor right before the car hit the bottom but it wasn't quite enough to spare her entirely. She felt her legs break and her wrist as well. It was pretty painful, but not nearly as bad as she thought it was going to be.

"Okay." She unlatched her seatbelt and sat up, her shoulder snapping back into place on its own. "I don't really want to do that again."
