Back in mid August, a new hero arrives
Cassie had been having trouble sleeping ever since the second trimester and tonight was no exception. But she was too tired to do much more than open her eyes, shift around a little bit, and then close them again. She knew her body was hurting but at that moment she simply wasn't alert enough to wonder why. That is until she felt her water broke. Now that got her to wake up.

"Kristoff?" She grabbed his arm. "The baby's coming."

He presses a button on the wall. "Andrea, please monitor Scotty. It is apparently time."

"I just want to get you there as quickly as possible in safety, Cassandra. Anything else is secondary." He notifies Vincent that they're heading to the hospital and then takes her up to the Fantasticar. "How are you feeling?"

Andrea did not sleep in the conventional sense, but did experience a periodic rest cycle. Certain key words, voices, or combinations there of, however, could bring her out of it instantly.

"Understood, Kristoff. I hope for a peaceful birth."

Cassie looked to her husband. "Excited. A little nervous. But I'm fine. What about you?" She could just imagine the emotions going through his mind. Mostly because she'd seen it happen once before.

And he gets her to the 'car, and the hospital. And he tells himself that she will make it through, and he tells her that everything is going well. And he holds her hand. And he will give any hospital personal who seem that they are not taking her condition or her comfort seriously the distinct impression that Doctor Doom's eldest son will personally murder them -- those Cassandra has not managed to put the fear in first, that is.
