"I simply had a different variety of idiot to deal with." The shrug is almost audible in his tone. "Alissa brought me flowers as a thank-you for standing up for her."

He rolls his eyes. "Calling it a fight is even giving it too much credit. It was a brief scuffle. I got his left eardrum and at least one solid shot to the solar plexus before it was broken up." He elaborates.
