Weird Job Referral
Beatrice new how on-edge Nicolai was as they watched the limited news coverage of the Latverian invasion of Symkaria again. There was no evidence of massive casualties, but then there wasn't evidence of much, and that just added to how infuriating the situation was.

Eventually, "If you don't mind the non sequitur, I recently met -- under admittedly weird circumstances -- a couple of operatives available for work."

A skilled gun wielder with a healing factor definitely has some good possibilities. They typically don’t get many magic users in Silver Sable International, he wasn’t quite sure why that was but they didn’t and that definitely had some interesting possibilities. He would probably learn a bit more about their skills in the standard background search they did especially if they had don’t past work.

“Is there anything else I should know about them?”

"Kelly distinctly has psychological issues, but they seem like the disassociative kind, not the rampaging kind, and she seems to have gotten Weapon X's conditioning out of her head thanks to an incident with her healing factor. And yes, all the comparisons my abilities seem to have run indicate resemblances to my mother, and she said that she was one of their genetic experiments, which Mom's DNA was thrown into out of spite and convenience. It's really, really weird and I haven't told my mother yet."
