"That's what I'm trying to figure out. Tactically, even for Doom, this makes no sense. Too many different weapons. Sure, he's hitting monarchies, but he's missing some... plus the government of those monarchies is at least as stable as half a dozen other more obtainable things to conquer. No... Doom wants something or someone. He's going to get a reaction out of Namor... which means the Avengers and Fantastics will be watching. Wakanda will go all xenophobic and on the defensive, other than the superhuman crowd. Attacking Symkaria will get a bunch of mercs going, and have Russia all on alert. Either Doom wants to try and provoke the Avengers or someone into an invasion, he wants something or someone specific... like the times he's stolen massive cosmic power or something... or he wants to wave his shiny metal cock around and prove he can attack anyone at a whim for some reason. If I /had/ to make a guess, the superhumans seem to be the link... I wonder... if he attacked Genosha, and got the Genoshans to make a counter strike... that close to Russia... hmm, the Russians would love an excuse to attack a weakened Magneto. If he's really trying to stir up war, that'd be one way to do it. Too many unknowns."
