She didn't expect him to ask questions and the apprension she started to feel just vanished. Kassi sat up a little straighter.
"I don't eat anything that came from an animal. No cheese, no milk, I don't even eat Jello because the gelatin comes from animal bones. Well, most brands of Jello anyway. Some vegetarians will eat cheese and eggs and stuff. And technically, someone who eats fish and chicken but not meat is a pescetarian." She smiled a little. "I know, sounds weird, not eating cheese and stuff. I just...really respect the environment and the animals and things. Especially the ocean."
