When Justin got his mother's message, he'd had to listen to it a couple of times to make sure he'd heard it right. When he was convinced that he had, he felt both a bit weird about it, yet strangely hopeful.
He'd been a true only child where he came from, and now he had a sister /and/ a brother. He only hoped he'd get along with this guy as well as or better than he got along with Toni.
Justin shows up at the coffee shop, having taken the rest of the day off work to meet with...
"Harvey?" Justin asks, walking up to the table. He offers his hand.
"I'm Justin Rhodes. I guess we're brothers." Justin says, nothing that he now has a sister, who is Black and brother, who is White.
And he falls in dead center.
Somewhere, there's a probably a joke or a song or a TV show about this. Maybe he'll ask Tina about it whenever she gets back.
"How's it going?" he asks.
