"Well... after I got hurt... really, I was probably knocking on death's door, near as I can tell, Odin, big head-honcho god, merged her--Asleif's--spirit with mine, so I'd live. But I was pretty messed up after that. Conflicting memories, all kinds of stuff like that.
But I ended up sleepwalking to the Defenders compound and the helped me figure out what was going on, and then I started being, basically, able to turn into her. And I kinda helped save the world from some big fire demon guys.
Only then, I got hurt in the fight, probably dying again, only Asleif kinda... came to me, and helped me put myself back together. And afterward, we were separated again. Only she wasn't going to stay. But she wanted her siblings and this little girl, Zoey, looked after. So she kinda... put some kind of whammy on me, so I look like this.
And I'm magic now, too. Apparently I always was. She just kinda woke it up.
And then I helped save Doctor Strange and now I'm his apprentice."
