She's coming in /fast/, the helicarrier's sensors only picked her up a second ago, and she's right on them, flinging the hammer towards the helicarrier. It might not pack quite the punch it does when Thor throws it, but it should make a dent.
With his senses, and speed, she needs to get the Sentry's attention before he notices the stealth team, and draw him away from the other battles.
