The Void has been taken out of the skies, but during the fight, and his final crash into the engines, the helicarrier is tilting dangerously, the engines smoking as the massive craft begins a slow dive towards central New York City.
Even over the massive storm that's risen, people, no matter their faction, can't help but notice the horrible grinding noise and the roar of the engines as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s base begins to crash towards the city of millions.
For those aboard, every alarm S.H.I.E.L.D. has is going off, and with the fight taking place on the bridge, the crash is just being hastened by the auto-pilot shutting off. Even with an actual pilot, there's likely no re-taking full control - with no engines, its going down, but someone might be able to at least help direct it - maybe.
Right now, as a result of heroes fighting heroes over identity, its looking like the epitaph of this Civil War may be at least tens of thousands and downtown New York.
