Tamara's Mom had called her a couple of days before the ball to tell her that she'd gotten an invite for her, her father, Tamara, and a date if she wanted to bring one. Tamara had managed to find a
dress on short notice. She'd also managed to get a date, as Quinn agreed to go with her. She bought an Angelina Ballerina doll and book as her donation.
"Thanks for coming with me," she said to Quinn, "Especially on such short notice. I appreciate it."
