Akilah was silent for a few short moments. She felt her father's words hit her like bullets. He was right on one point. It was that Akilah should have brought Daniel to him sooner. This was not the way they should be meeting, at all. And it was entirely her fault.
She met his gaze with her own.
"I...must attend to my duties in Wakanda, but I do not wish to see Prince Harun in that manner, Father. I feel respect for him, but I have no interest in him."
