"You were wonderful," he tells her with a quick kiss on the cheek.
And then an exaggerated thoughtful look. "My problem at karaoke is that my favorite bands don't write a lot of songs meant to be sung by happy people." He grins. "So it going to have to be an Oldie."
He heads up. "Well the shark has/ pretty teeth dear/and he shows them/ pearly white..."
