Dmitri might have made a mistake in opting to choose the dragon. It was an impulse choice, since he didn't get to fight a real dragon last time. Still, he shot a few spikes out of his forearm at the flying dragon to get it's attention.

He planned to cut the wings and keep it on the ground.
