Dmitri saw exactly what happened. And he was well aware that this fool would claim victory. But it did not matter, since the dragon was defeated. Dmitri walked over to it and pulled off a couple of scales.
"You are lucky that you are not dead," he told Arthur, and then left to aid his comrades.
