"I...had not thought of actually being a member of the Avengers. I am not really a hero, so to speak." Eli says humbly.
"I also cannot fully devote myself to the team. I have...family commitments, is the best way to put it." Eli tells Luna, a grimace coming to his face. He would have to face Druig again soon. Would his father know that he was gone?
Would he even care?
"I would be glad to call the Avengers my friends, though. Charlie offered to teach me about vampires and their ilk at one point. We met a few during our trip." Eli says.
