"Good food and wine are always important." Eli nods. He used to think the human infatuation with food was silly until he'd had his first cup of coffee. Now, while he didn't need to eat, he found he enjoyed the act of doing so.
And alcohol was good, even if the secondary effects were lost upon him.
"I am sure you and Aine had no end of Italian men wanting to bask in your company." Eli says, looking at another book on a higher shelf. He extends his hand slightly, and the book frees itself from the shelf and drifts down to him, seemingly of its own accord.
