Svalin had settled back into her room at the Defenders' Compound and went to the stables to see to Tryggvi and Snowflake. Zoey had been taking very good care of her horse and Svalin was proud. The dogs and tiger seemed to be doing well and it made Svalin happy.

When she was all settled in she made her way up to the main building for something to eat and some mead. She grabbed some cheese and a loaf of bread from the kitchen and a bottle of mead. It wasn't Asgardian, but would do in a pinch. It felt good to be home.

She grabbed a seat at the breakfast counter and started to eat.

	Svalin quickly back peddled and tried to stay out of his reach. Thankfully the front lawn was level ground and she didn't have to worry about tripping. She used her staff to try to keep him out of reach. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He lunges towards her undefended side, then shifts his weight back the other wap, spinning about and coming around with a hard swing of the axe. "Then I must needs bring the fight to thee!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	No amount back peddling was going to get her clear of the swing. She barely got her sword up before the axe came. As it was the blow was fast and hard enough that her sword merely prevented it from taking her leg off. The edge bit into the flesh of thigh. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She's fast enough to make the roll, leaving him to try and just hold on so this remains a grappling contest, even if he's currently at a disadvantage. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin wasn't expecting the dive and was caught off guard. She went falling backward and hit the ground hard. The air whooshed from her lungs. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's a little surprised that he caught her off-guard, usually works the other way around. Still, he's not going to pass on the chance. He tries to switch their earlier situation and perch on top of her, reaching a hand for her throat to try and keep her from catching her breath. "Dost thou yield?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
