Checking In
Imagine Asleif's surprise when she had heard her sister had returned from her travels (farther than she knew though they might have been).  Zooey's contact to tell Asleif had been a pleasant surprise, however, and she had told the girl to pass on to the others that she would be making a brief stop to see Svalin (and perhaps a tea party with the budding young sorceress before she left).

So it was that Asleif found herself outside Svalin's door, knocking.  She intended to make no excuses, though she knew her handling of things was not strictly within what Svalin had set before her.  But she would not be of the lineage of Loki if she did not sometimes seek loopholes.  Her own affairs had overtaken those goals and she had set right what she could.  She apologized not.
