A Question A Long Time Coming
Steve had to admit, the security around the T-Bolts compound was second to none. And while he could have gotten in with his Avengers ID card, that still would have set something off. Some things were worth going the extra mile to surprise people for. His dad had been able to get into Avengers Mansion multiple times over the years without setting off security.

And he had the added benefit of knowing how Gorgeous would think and design hers. Getting in was easy.

Getting into her room without waking her up was slightly harder.

Waiting for her to wake up, well, even harder still.

But for this? He could.

Not that she thought that her parents' reaction would be bad, just that she knew her father was always looking out for the company. She was too, but she knew Steve and trusted him. "She probably will, but only after she electrocutes me," Anya said. "But I think we should invite her and Charlie with us to the Grammys and to Vegas. They're our best friends and I wouldn't want anyone else with us."

Anya had made a promise to Toni and she was going to keep it. Even if it meant that Toni would try to stop them. Right now Toni didn't need to feel like Anya abandoned her or didn't think of her.
