The Lights of Vegas (Jan 13th)
The Seven Heaves Casino and Resort was the newest casino in Vegas and business was booming. Tourists and locals alike came to the new casino to check it out and to see if they could hit a jackpot. Some came out winners while others came out losers. Some came out completely changed and had a new outlook on life after finding religion. It was an unusual place to find religion, but then again the owners were very unusual themselves.

There's plenty of oooohhhs, ahhs and cameras as Svalin comes out with the rest of the 'Klingon Honor Guard' into the show area.

One of the Klingons steps up to the front of the group, talking about the ancient and honorable ways of the Klingons and their most revered martial art while the rest mostly try to look threatening for the crowd.

She doesn't have to worry about being recognized due to all the makeup, but Svalin ignores them because there are weapons to be eyed. She selected one of the largest Bat'leths.

It was okay, but herse was better.

Its true - hers is a masterwork, the only one of several dozen attempts to meet Halbjorn's satisfaction, the rest were melted down to try again with another weapon - the rest of them are better than props, but definitely not up to the workmanship of Svalin's weapon.

Still, the people doing the performance drill and practice a lot - this is a passion for them, and this is an opportunity to watch masters at work - sure, a lot of it is choreographed, but its still impressive, and they still have plenty to teach.

That, and she's definitely being appreciated by the fanboys.

She watched and studied their moves. When it was her turn, she grabbed her bat'leth and stepped into the ring.

She definitely has the fanboy vote, he entrance to the ring is met with a lot of cheering, hollering, and requests for her phone number.
