Gauging.
After the minor ordeal of informing her parents and getting their permission and signatures, Amiko leads Asako into the training room. "All right. We are going to start off rather simply and work our way up."

Asako concentrated, wanting to make a good impression. She focused her energy, jumping onto the platforms, honing her energies to blast aside the occasional obstacle.

"Good, good." Amiko pressed another button, and platforms separated further, and the occasion obstacles got a little more frequent.

She wasn't expecting that, and was knocked back onto one of the other platform.

"Okay...I do this." She inhaled, making her way back to the course.

Amiko's relieved that she seems to be taking the setbacks well. That's a good sign. And as she makes it through, she tells her she's doing great.

Asako jumps from platform to platform, getting rid of the occasional obstacle that comes up in her way.

And yes, she's sparkling the entire time.

And as she completes the circuit, Amiko applauds a little before -- once Asako is on the ground again -- shutting the program down. "Well done. Good to see."
