The dress probably would have given her dad fits. But her older "sister" (one of these days they really needed to figure out if they were the same person or not) had heard of her relationship... things, and sent it over for her.

Granted, she hadn't mentioned the dinner date was with the Shi'ar Prince. Big Rachel had some issues with them.

She opened the door. "Hello, Starbridge."

	Rachel smiled as she climbed out of the cab. All this fuss over her? Three different guys all vying for her affections? ...She'd never actually made it off Throneworld, had she? She'd let the Phoenix eat the sun and this was some little mental prison it'd created to keep her happy. No, that was dumb. Very unlikely. "Thanks," she told Starbridge. 	And he takes her upstairs, gives the maitre d'hotel his name, and walks with her into the velvet-and-crystal-encrusted restaurant with great views of the cityscape.
