	He grins from ear to ear. "I will look forward to it." They head up to the ticket-taker and then into the theater. Torn Ear examines the glasses they were handed. "...these are... sunglasses?" He peers at the writing on the plastic they're encased in. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Oh..." Further inspection of the packaging informs him they're not meant to be put on just yet, so he holds onto them for the moment.

Much sampling of junk food later, the previews come up, and the glasses get slipped on.

And slip right down his face, apparently passing through where the image inducer makes his ears appear to be. Torn Ear touches the sides of his head, realizing how much a part of his regular routine keeping the inducer turned on has been.

	Rachel hid her laugh behind her hand. "Here... let me see those," she said. One quick application of molecular telekinesis later (the glow hidden by her body), she slipped the modified glasses over Torn Ear's head. "It's dark. Nobody'll notice." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Torn Ear actually purrs with satisfaction as she slips the modified glasses on him. "Thank you, Rachel." He smiles at her, then pays attention to the trailer, eyes widening as the 3-d kicks on. 	The movie was pretty good, Rachel thinks, as she and Torn Ear exit the theater. Promising him the surprise, she lead him down an alleyway. After checking to make sure no one was around, she concentrated, and lifted the both of them off the ground with her power and into the air. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Given the number of flying super-heroes in New York and the outlying regions, she knew they wouldn't attract too much attention. She put the two of them through a few simple dives and climbs. 	Torn Ear breathes an audible sigh of relief as he's back on solid ground, but nods to Rachel. "That was very interesting." He looks at the watch one of the other students had given him.
