"Money would be good. And clothing." Eli says, trying to put his most recent argument with his father out of his head. Much like he thought, Druig had barely registered his disappearance, though he did seemed surprised to see Eli return.
When he asked for money to travel in the human world, Druig was less than happy, calling his "dalliances" with humans a "waste of time", but he'd granted it to him.
"Oh, and bring a book you've never read." Eli says.
