Trusting his brother's armor and his girlfriend's inhuman condition to preserve them, Vincent moves for Cassie, carrying her skyward away from the gas, feeling it's effects as well, but not so severely. Grabbing her keeps his hands too busy for a healing spell, but the imperative is to escape from the initial bombardment.
