Dinner and Recon (Friday night)
Tessa stood outside Big Nick's Burger and Pizza Joint on Broadway and 77th. She was fifteen minutes early because she didn't want to be late and make Mikhail think she wasn't going to show. The whole point was to keep him interested and she could only do that by being around.

She smoothed her blouse and wondered if she looked okay. She was dressed in a pair of boots, a blouse and a pair of jeans. From the way Mikhail had described the place, she didn't think that anything formal would be appropriate, but she was so unsure of this dating stuff.

The program didn't exactly foster any dating environment, not that this was a date. People like her didn't go on dates, they went on missions. Nicholas made it a point to say it was a mission and not a date.

Nicholas was not happy with her going out with Mikhail and getting close to him, even if it were for the good of the mission. Then again, Nicholas was hardly ever happy. The guy was created cranky.

She looked at her watch. Five more minutes. She watched the traffic and people as she waited.

	She went over to the small kitchen and fetched a glass out of a cabinet. She filled it directly from the tap. Healing factor and all. "A lot we already knew. "He didn't suspect me," she said. "He wouldn't want to see me again if he suspected me and he would have called any of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents following him to take me in if he suspected me. I know what he likes to do on weekends, I know what movies he likes and I know one of his favorite places to eat and I build on this information to find out what you want to know. This will take time, Nicholas. I will find out where he was over the winter, but it will take time."

Except he would not be merciful when he recovered himself. His vicious side was a proven commodity.

His brows snapped together at her response. While he didn't retreat, he did stop pushing. The bastard got to her, somehow. He would follow her the next them she was on the mission.

"Write it up. Every detail, no matter how small or insignificant." He paused. "Did you discover what he fears?"
