Vernique was over at the Defenders compound -- she and Hal were going to the Oscars this weekend. But that wasn't the only thing coming up.

It was a natural reaction to the word dress and one she had done since the age of five when she realized she wanted to be a warrior. MomTwo had tried many times over the years to get Svalin to wear a dress when it wasn't a formal occasion and had been unsuccessful. Obstinate and stubborn were commonly heard when it came to putting Svalin in a dress.

Svalin's arms crossed over her chest and a scowl appeared on her face. "Nay."

Svalin could be her usual obstinate self, or try to compromise a bit more. "I canst only wear one at a time and the other ist a backup, but I get another one if thou wilt select it."

Besides, she didn't have to wear it right away anyway.
