As intelligent as Eli is, it takes him a minute to process Vernique's statement. Once he does, his eyes widen in surprise and he gets up to hug both Vernique and Svalin.

"Congratulations! I think this calls for a toast...with Svalin getting soda or something to replace the wine." Eli says.
