She’d never been much of a gift-giver. Kassia was the only sibling she’d ever really had and thus the only person she had to deal with in regards to birthday presents was her and Kassia was easy to buy for—if it was movies or television or music or something regarding an animal charity the youngest Frost child was all for it. Anastasia was different. She was, literally, from another world. It complicated things but one thing she’d noticed was that Anastasia usually had to borrow a car from Summers when she wanted to go somewhere and while there was nothing wrong with that, Tina liked cars. She liked working on them, playing with them, dismantling them, customizing them. They were a labor of love for her and Tina, in her own way, saw this as a fitting way to express affection for her sister from another world. Tina had purchased a 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, stripped it down, and completely rebuilt it, restoring the body and the interior before hitting work on the engine. All said and done, it was one awesome vintage sports car, painted in a brilliant silver with black leather seats. Tina had it delivered to the school with a big pink bow on top.
