Happy Birthday, Annie
Rose always had a good head for dates. When you planned on living as long as she probably would, it was probably important to have one of those.

Besides, this one was easy. Annie was practically a sister to her, though she'd also admit that Frosty was kind of supplanting her in the best friend department. No slight to Annie, but while Annie was the friend who would bail her out of jail, Frosty was the one who'd be in the cell with her.

Never the less, there were few people she was closer to. Rose had gotten her a new leather jacket and the promise to get her a fake id so they could go drinking.

	Cait wasn't one to miss birthdays. She made a basket of Anastasia's favorite baked goods and also got her a gift card to iTunes to put in a card. She left the items in Anastasia's room. (Reply to this)(Thread)

While she still wasn’t in the best of moods from the Valentine’s Day mess with Ben and Vincent Kassia wasn’t going to let the suckitude of her social life keep her from taking care of the important things on her schedule, partly because it was the right thing to do and partly because if she became a total hermit Namor would have to come up to the surface and that could be ugly. Thanks to Tina, Anastasia’s birthday was an “important thing” on the schedule—gotta love technology (not that it wouldn’t have been important otherwise, just that Kassi was, well…not great with keeping track of dates.)

Mac was insistent that Kassi get back to school so ditching and heading down to Xavier’s to visit both of her sisters was just out of the question so Kassi sent presents to Anastasia instead. There were some gift cards to various stores and a sea glass bracelet all wrapped up in pink and silver paper delivered to Anastasia at the school.

She’d never been much of a gift-giver. Kassia was the only sibling she’d ever really had and thus the only person she had to deal with in regards to birthday presents was her and Kassia was easy to buy for—if it was movies or television or music or something regarding an animal charity the youngest Frost child was all for it. Anastasia was different. She was, literally, from another world. It complicated things but one thing she’d noticed was that Anastasia usually had to borrow a car from Summers when she wanted to go somewhere and while there was nothing wrong with that, Tina liked cars. She liked working on them, playing with them, dismantling them, customizing them. They were a labor of love for her and Tina, in her own way, saw this as a fitting way to express affection for her sister from another world. Tina had purchased a 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, stripped it down, and completely rebuilt it, restoring the body and the interior before hitting work on the engine. All said and done, it was one awesome vintage sports car, painted in a brilliant silver with black leather seats. Tina had it delivered to the school with a big pink bow on top.

Emma hadn’t yet met Anastasia. She hadn’t had time, between the takedown of Sebastian Shaw and then her own time unwillingly spent in Atlantis. Even after being returned to the surface she’d kept a low profile for awhile while she attempted to sort out her life and her family. It was time to reach out. She’d sent out a request to have dinner with all of them at once, but that was only the start. Anastasia, for her birthday, would receive an envelope from Emma with a personal invitation to dinner with her (on a date of her choosing; she wasn’t going to presume that the girl would want to dine with her stranger of a mother when she’d been so fully ensconced with the Summers half of her family) as well as an American Express card in her own name. It was as close to full acceptance as Emma could do from a distance.
